EQUAL LOVE - LIMITED EDITION CANVAS REPRODUCTION

Artwork #1: Equal Love - Series 2: Pride

Original hand drawn and close to artist's heart art piece.  Inspired and painted during June's Pride month celebration.  Artist created his first ever LGBTQ+ themed piece with bright rainbow colors.

The "E" from the artist's initials, is created by the grid of squares from the background, simultaneously framing a realistic wrinkled rainbow flag showed inside an equal sign windows.  

There is still a lot to work to reach equality for the LGBTQ+ community.  Explaining why the background grid of equal signs, has been painted unfinished and "under construction".

The background pattern of equal signs is made out of 49 equal sign tiles, to represent and honor the 49 angels we gained after the tragic Pulse mass shooting, in Orlando, Florida, on June 12, 2016.  Artist's close & dear friend, Javier Jorge Reyes, is represented by the equal sign to the right of the heart.  "Gracias por venir" J.J.R.

Finally, the symbol of love has been painted as an almost unbreakable diamond heart. The heart joining and making things possible has been depicted at the centric anchor of this composition, to represent LOVE as the center of everything.
